Robbed of the services of starlet Vincenzo Iquainta two hours before kick-off, GYFC struggled as they were crushed 3-0 by resurgent Portugal FC side.

Vincenzo reportedly failed a sex test at 7am and did not turn up as his team mates geared up for one of the biggest game in the season.

The match began with Portugal FC asking all the early questions. GYFC could do very little to get into their usual passing game. Even before the game reached the half-hour mark, GYFC players were seen panting and asking for substitutes.

Not surprisingly, PFC took the lead when PFC no.9 latched on to a pass over the defence to send a loping shot right pass the inexperienced Roynaldo in goal.

During the half-time teamtalk, de-facto captain Zhi Ruiberto was heard screaming and lamenting his team's apparent lack of fitness, skill, technique and commitment. His words did appear to motivate the team as GYFC linked up well early in the second half to create the few opportunities they had in the entire game.

Pohdolski and Roynaldo were both wasteful as the failed to beat PFC's Dutch (wannabe) goalkeeper.

Lapses of concentration later in the second proved all so costly again as GYFC crumbled and allowed PFC to make the score 3-0.

In a post-match conference, Jingmie Carragher told the press about his new found abilities, 'I can tell if a team is good by looking at 2 of their players.'

It was later revealed that he had initially predicted a GYFC whitewash after seeing 2 of PFC players.

The fans/players gathered after the game and called for team manager/captain Zhi Ruiberto to arrange a match against the legendary Benny's team. The last time GYFC clashed with Benny's Team, the GYs walked away with a 10-1 romp.

It's too early to judge Zhi Ruiberto's abilities to arrange such a game, but judging by what the fans witness at Rainbow Valley, his time will be up soon if he cannot turn the tables.
